Alpe d’huzes news
The Alpe d’HuZes foundation defines its mission as ‘to facilitate and inspire to live well, happy and healthy with cancer. Alpe d’HuZes Is an action where bikers, be it alone or team wise, cycle in order to collect money which allows them to contribute to battle (the consequences of) cancer. On one day, at least 6 times the legendary alpe d’huez Is climbed. An almost impossible assignment. Still, in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 a large amount of contestants managed. Even a number of (former) cancer patients. In 2009 they cycled for a record amount of nearly 6 million euro. The receiving’s are 100% transferred to WKF’s own created fund.
During the struggle against cancer patients and their loved ones experience a great feeling of helplessness. Cancer is represented everywhere. Fighting it seems pointless. 40% of all Dutch people will have cancer. Everyone experiences up close how lives will be influenced drastically and ruined.
Alpe d’HuZes has been founded with the goal to convert the helplessness caused by cancer to strength. We do this by expanding the borders of what is possible with as much people as possible.
Alpe d’huzes vision is that the greatest possible satisfaction can be achieved by suffering with body and soul for someone else. With the motto “giving up is not an option” we accept no limitation of what we can and will achieve.
Your Test Professionals hugely admires the dedication and motivation of this great initiative and embrace its motto “giving up is not an option”. We are exceptionally proud of the fact Your Test Professionals employees participate in this event and recruit their own sponsors.

The bicycle team of Your Test Professionals participating in alpe d’huzes this year consists of : Leo Eskens, Jacco Kruiger, Cees de Man, Fausto de Oliveira Marreiros, Daniel Panday, Steffi Ronda and Ron Visser.
